In 2013 a new Women's Network has been launched in the Antwerp region: A-WIN, Antwerp Women's International Network. A-WIN is an inclusive professional network and forum for social, cultural, personal and professional development. A-WIN is targeted to women who are active in international environments in the Antwerp area. The network focuses on connecting cultures and inspiring talents by bringing together interesting people who have fascinating experiences, in an environment which stimulates lively debate and learning topics. This will stimulate communication with peers and colleagues about professional or private topics, about working or living aspects, about cultural or social themes and all this in an international context. A-WIN is an initiative of a group of women in the Antwerp area, all with different private and professional backgrounds, different ages and from different cultures. They personally saw the need for more international connections and are committed to developing this inclusive and international platform in the Antwerp area. [Bron : website]
